Preparing for the Appalachian Trail
Friday, March 19, 7.00 p.m.

"What do you do for a mid life crisis? Quit your job and hit the trail. I gave my notice on my 40th birthday and set out on the Appalachian Trail at the CT/NY state line on 7/5/2007 and hiked to the trail end atop Mt. Katadin in Baxter State Park Maine. I will be at Annie's on March 19 to tell the tale with a slide show and demos to aspiring hikers and couch potatoes alike. I will answer questions like what did I eat, what equipment was used and why the hell did you do that?"
So spake Tom FraserHiker and raconteur extrordianaire. This is a seminar not to be missed, even if you only walk up Nobscot Mountain.
