An evening of Paranormal Intrigue with Dave Retalic

Ghosts and Ghouls?

Poltergeists?

Bumps in the night?

Demonic Possession?

Paranormal Investigation

All from Metrowest know the story of the bloody dress & ghostly happenings at the John Stone's Inn in Ashland. Ghosts, friendly and otherwise have always been a major source of dramatic content in our entertainment. In the seventeenth century there was the ghost of Banquo in Shakespeare's “Macbeth”. Dickens provided three in “A Christmas Carol”. More recently we have had "The Exorcist", a classic film, and Casper seems to be a perennial favorite in children's entertainment.

How much credence should we give to “ghostly” happenings? How does one find out whether the bump in the night is a poltergeist or a settling foundation?

One could ask a ghost hunter.

Rita Guravich Photographic exhibition

For October, we will have an exhibition of photographs by Framingham photographer Rita Gurevich.  Previous exhibits by Rita have been amongst the most successful we have had. Rita assures me that she has shot plenty of new material in the meantime, and that visitors will not be disappointed.

Artist's  reception

will be held Sunday, September 28th, 2008,   2 - 4 p.m.
While the photographs will obviously be the star of the show, I have just discovered how to make that utterly wicked British dessert accompaniment, clotted cream. So we will have scones (smothered) with clotted cream and macerated strawberries as part of the refreshments.

The Paranormal Investigator

Dave works full-time as a firefighter & paramedic for the Ashland Fire Department. For the past fifteen years, in his spare time, he has been studying the paranormal. In 2002, he founded the group “haunted happenings, paranormal Investigations”. His investigations include some of the well known historical inns as well as numerous private residences throughout new England.
